WHAT IS THE DOYEN MOBILE?
 A state-of-the-art fully air-conditioned coach built mobile recording unit based on a 4.5t Volkswagen chassis, fully equipped for both broadcast and commercial usage. The key to the Doyen Mobile is convenience and, above all, quality.
All the equipment is selected for its suitability, its reliability, and especially for its audio integrity:

Matching pairs of B&K, Neumann and AGK microphones.

These are fed via two custom made, twelve way multicores through a DDA mixing console to Apogee converters.

Recorded to TASCAM high resolution DAT and DTRS machines.
Alternatively direct-to- hard-disk via our integrated SADiE workstation. Quality monitoring from Harbeth and Meyer HDT monitors. Record either to stereo or multi-track, with 24bit/96kHz quality as standard. Closed-circuit television, with comprehensive custom built talkback and red light facility for both conductor and producer. Experienced engineers and producers, with detailed knowledge of the industry and its requirements are always available.
